We founded in March 2019 supporting both mosques with food and care packages. Six months on now we have a contract with Red Cross Refugee Programme to support the refugees with intial care packages upon arrival into Canterbury. We are also assisting others who need a smile after experiencing things a new severe traumatic event. Our care packages are based on donated items from food, clothing, toiletries, art, toys etc. We were an Essential Service during lock down supplying food to our clients who were not coping. Currently as we have not obtained funding we have been making and selling very cheap reusable facemasks made by our volunteers. Around 4,000 in 3 weeks so far have been purchased and sent all over NZ.
