Trek for Life Aotearoa/NZ

EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER. Do you love exploring? Have you dreamt about discovering New Zealand? Well, look no further than this unique way to experience our country. If you love horse riding, mountain biking, walking/hiking or volunteering then this annual, week-long adventure is for you - while also helping us to raise funds for the First Response and Rescue Services in the community. We traverse a clearly marked route for 6 days, with a rest and relaxation day in the middle. Most days, the distance from camp to camp is between 25 and 35km, trekking through places that many travellers generally do not have access to - so expect some amazing, untouched and unique perspectives of New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and scenery. While about 250 trekkers (walkers/ mountain bikers/ horses riders) make their way from camp to camp each day we need a team of volunteers to move our “town”. There are many different volunteer rolls available from truck driving, putting up the marquee and tents to being a horse wrangler and making make-shift paddocks. This is a great way to join Trek for Life for the week and to experience some of the true NZ while being apart of a great event for a great cause. What you get: -A week long kiwi experience - going to private land that you wouldn’t usually have access to. - All food is gourmet catered - Hot showers and flush toilets - The evening activities including a band and cocktail night - meet great people from all walks of life - be apart of a big fundraiser event raising funds for the first response and rescue services - for further info please head to our website where all rolls are explained or email us on [email protected] https://www.trekforlife.org.nz/volunteers
