At St John Paeroa Op Shop, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. By selling affordable pre-loved goods, we help fund essential, lifesaving services and community initiatives. Plus, we're making New Zealand more environmentally sustainable by reducing landfill through recycling.

What's involved? As a store driver, you will be working alongside an experienced volunteer driver to deliver pre-loved goods to various locations in Paeroa. Ideally you will have a good level of physical fitness, as the role will involve lifting and moving furniture with another driver. The role involves conducting testing and tagging of electrical goods for both resale and internal use (training on this will be provided if required).

A minimum of 4 hours is expected for each shift and a full, clean, New Zealand driver's licence is essential. We're searching for caring individuals who want to give back to their community. If you're enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn, we can provide you with the necessary skills. Are you at least 18 years old? Click below to apply now!

The recruitment process includes:

  • An interview with the store manager.
  • A criminal record check
  • A driver check.

If you are over 18, enthusiastic to learn and ready to make a difference, click the "Apply" button below to submit your expression of interest! We will send you a link to our simple online application form.

We welcome and encourage diversity in our workforce and adhere to best practice equal employment opportunity principles in all aspects of our recruitment and our ways of working. Haramai ngā tai o te āniwaniwa, he kāhui rangatira tēnei, he kāhui whakamana tāngata whaimahi, e te iti, e te rahi e.
