We are seeking a kind and friendly Assistant to support our Dementia Advisors with ensuring our Kapiti Peer Support Group and COG caf� Group sessions run smoothly.
Visit an older person in their home once a week for a visit of at least an hour.
Do you enjoy interacting with older people ? Come and assist us with our fun day activities programme in Paraparaumu.
We will provide you with training and connect you to someone who is isolated in the community, so with your support they can develop a sense connection, reducing the likelihood of them self-harming. You will make a significant difference to someone's life.
Are you a young professional, student or entrepreneur between the age of 18-40yrs old? Do you love people - connecting, learning and building relationships?? Do you want to be a leader, but need the hands on experience? Are you an action orientated person who loves to get involved making a difference?
- Start or grow your board career experience - no previous experience required in board positions – suit people willing to learn. - Passionate person – You are one of those people who make things happen!! - Must enjoy working with people, building connections, and motivated to step out of their comfort zones.

We are looking for volunteers to provide community and social support for ex-prisoners and their whanau in Hastings and/or Napier. You will work alongside another volunteer and provide social support for ex-prisoners experiencing isolation. We would love to have new volunteers join our Outreach team and help us to make a significant difference in the quality of life of someone impacted by chronic illness. No skills or experience required; commitment is flexible but an average of 1 hour/week is usually expected.
