Graduate Women New Zealand (GWNZ) is a champion of women’s rights, particularly in and through education. We influence positive change with advocacy and action, including Academic Dress Hire. This funds our scholarships that facilitate access to education for women in New Zealand, and around the world. Formed in 1921, GWNZ is part of the wider network of GWNZ branches and Charitable Trusts across New Zealand and the global organisation, Graduate Women International (GWI) which was formed to advocate for women and for peace after WW1. Board members are based throughout NZ. As a Board we meet monthly via modern digital communication platforms; and get together face to face at least once a year
