Waipukurau Drama Club formed in 1893, 130 years this year so Waipukurau Little Theatre is celebrating with the original plays from the Victorian era. On 21st of April 1953, The Waipukurau Dramatic Society Inc was incorporated, but more recently we have been known as Waipukurau Little Theatre Inc. We are a not-for-profit organisation producing several shows a year, More importantly we have been well supported by the Central Hawke's Bay community who have attended our shows and enabled us to continue with our productions. The goal of the Society is to foster the dramatic arts in Central Hawke's Bay There has been a constant renewal of the people involved keeping the society alive and vibrant. We welcome volunteers as new members, actors, directors, assistants, front of house hospitality roles and bar tending, backstage set building, costuming and technical etc. Please contact us if you would like to become involved, in any way.
