The Kaipatiki Community Facilities Trust (KCFT) is a registered charity and its main mission is to foster an inclusive Kaipatiki community where everyone belongs to and participates, where people choose to live, work, play and be active. Kaipatiki area includes Beach Haven, Birkenhead, Chatswood, Birkdale, Northcote, Northcote Point, Glenfield, Sunnybrae, Wairau Valley, Hillcrest, Marlborough, Totara Vale, Windy Ridge and Bayview.  The Kaipatiki area is an ethnically diverse area with around 58% of residents identifying as European, 33% identifying as Asian, around 8.7% identifying as Maori and 6% identifying as Pasifika.  Our mahi includes delivering community events, setting up and supporting community networks, provide opportunities for young people to be involved in their community. We deliver the Steps for Success Programme which provides rangatahi, and their whanau, with a firm foundation prior to transition into the workforce, and additional support once they find employment. We also deliver the Attendance Service programme which assists young people to get back into school or alternative education.
