Head out solo (or with others coordinated by you) on seek-and-destroy missions to eradicate key weed species at Makara Peak reserve. Maps and coordinates of weed plants are provided. Using these, you'll find a specific plant (e.g. Buddleia or Himalayan honeysuckle) and kill it (by chopping it down and treating the stump with herbicide paste). Share your progress with the wider conservation team at the end of each week. The goal is to virtually eliminate these relatively rare weeds this spring, before they seed and get well established.
