• Indigenous Rising (applicants for this section must identify as either Indigenous or a person of colour).

Responsibilities

• Liaising with and supporting our editors wherever required.
• Editing content & getting it ready to be published on the platform.
• Working with writers to fine-tune content.
• Interviewing subjects and writing profiles for the platform.
• Writing introductions for Q&A interviews.
• Writing copy for our email newsletters.

Requirements

• Must have an education in English, Journalism, Communications or a related area with at least 2 years of experience working in an editorial team. Alternatively, you can prove your editing skills by completing our test tasks.
• Exceptional writing & editing skills.
• Familiarity with SEO (preferable).
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask.
