If you have some free time a few hours a week and enjoy the company of older people we would love to hear from you! Our Enliven day programmes give older people/kaumātua the opportunity to connect with others while maintaining interests and skills, and sharing activities and experiences in the community. Our clubs provide fun activities! They’re lively affairs—stimulating and enjoyable for all involved!

What does a Van Assistant do? The help members on and out of the van. They ensure the members seatbelts are on And they socialise with members on the journey from and to our centre at 360 Annesbrook Drive, Stoke.

Our trips are every day of the week from 8.30 – 10.00 am and from 2.30 – 4.00 pm.

What do we expect from our Van Volunteers? We'd like you to be available at least one shift a fortnight. You need to be able to open and close the vans sliding door 10 times per trip. We'd like you to have the ability to connect with older people.

What can we offer you? We offer morning tea after the morning run and afternoon tea before the afternoon run. We are very supportive team and provide orientation training for all our volunteers. Stat holidays off
