Do you have a skillset or area of personal interest that would inspire young people (age 11 - 13)? We are looking for volunteers to run small group workshops that focus on learning practical and transferable life skills, while also developing confidence and resilience. These may include (but not limited to): Building/construction Car mechanics IT, (such as website design and coding). Sport and recreational activities, (including outdoor pursuits such as camping). Creative arts and design. This brings learning to life in a meaningful way for young people who find school challenging. We provide support and a learning framework as a platform for you to unleash your expertise and share valuable knowledge with the future generation. There is flexibility for this role to be a one off workshop, or an ongoing project. Duties:

  • Facilitate group workshops with Intermediate age students (11 - 13 years old). 5 - 10 students per workshop. Please note that the start and end date is flexible. This can be a short term (project based) or on-going role with a mentoring component.
