It is run solely by volunteers, and money collected from stallholders goes towards the upkeep and running costs of the Hataitai Centre. There are 20-25 stalls booked for every market and a fully equipped kitchen, which can be hired out. The Market Manager is able to have a free stall at the market and run the kitchen at times.
