GirlGuiding NZ office closure: 21 December 2023 – 8 January 2024 We require more amazing Volunteers to join GirlGuiding NZ to provide great Girl-Led programmes and activities for our Girls and Young Women. During the school term, our GGNZ leaders:

  • Attend a weekly session (in person) for up to two hours
  • Helping plan the term’s activities and deliver them to the girls
  • Complete occasional evening/weekend training as required
  • Attend occasional leader/planning meetings, and trips or camps

We require Unit Team Leaders and Unit Leaders for our Ranger Unit: Pukekohe Rangers - Ages 12.5 -17 years Unit Meets-Wednesdays 17:30-19:30. Pukekohe Scout and Guide Hall, 2 Edinburgh Street, Pukekohe 2102 The Unit Team Leader role would suit a previous Leader or Guiding experience; however, no experience is needed for the Unit Leader roles. However, we need reliable volunteers; prior experience working with youth is an advantage.

GirlGuiding New Zealand's health and safety policy also has requirements around adult-to-child ratios, so this opportunity is best suited to someone older than 18.
