GirlGuiding NZ office closure: 21 December 2023 – 8 January 2024 We require outstanding Volunteers to join GirlGuiding NZ to provide great Girl-Led programmes and activities for our Girls and Young Women. During the school term, our GGNZ leaders:

  • Attend a weekly session (in person) for up to two hours
  • Helping plan the term’s activities and deliver them to the girls
  • Complete occasional evening/weekend training as required
  • Attend occasional leader/planning meetings, and trips or camps In particular, we are seeking a Unit Team Leader for the following unit: 1st Manukau Papatoetoe Rangers Meets Wednesday 18:30-20:30 at Papatoetoe Guide Hall, 10 Guide Place, Papatoetoe, Auckland 2025, and you will be supporting Young Women aged 12-17 years, Term-time only.

We require a Unit Team Leader. The Unit Team Leader role would suit a previous Leader.

We need reliable volunteers; previous experience working with youth is an advantage.

GirlGuiding New Zealand’s health and safety policy also has requirements around adult-to-child ratios, so this opportunity is best suited to someone older than 18.
