Role Description: The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Healthy Homes Programme Curtain Bank and support the making of curtains.
The overall aim of our Healthy Homes Programme is to provide low-income whānau with minor repairs and curtains to support a warmer, drier home whilst reducing negative health impacts associated with cold and damp housing.

Specific Duties: • Enquiries and applications • Support to produce double lined, full length curtains including overlocking, sewing hems, sewing curtain tape to curtains, customising curtains (cutting, measuring to size) and general sewing. • Help build relationships with whānau.

You may also help out with sorting through donated curtains, pulling out hooks, washing, measuring, labelling and storing.
