ChangeMaker Resettlement Forum is a grassroots non-governmental organisation ( NGO) representing refugee background communities in the greater Wellington region.

We are looking for some female volunteers to help another woman from a refugee background to get their licence by practicing with her once or twice a week.

If you are:

• be at least 21 years old
• have held a clean NZ full licence for at least 2 years
• have some patience, confidence and creativity! We would love to hear from you!

You will be matched with someone who lives nearby so that you can easily meet her at her place (all the practices will be in her car). The learners will have had lessons with a driving school and you will help her prepare for their restricted or full licence test.

In return, you will make a positive difference in the life of woman from a refugee background and her family, receive training and support throughout your placement, increase your understanding of another culture and contribute to improving driver safety on the road.
