There are a range of tasks you may wish to get involved in - you can choose:

Headstone restoration - cleaning, repainting and restoring lettering. Repairs to smaller headstones that are broken. Cleaning and repainting cast iron railing. Gardening - weeding and planting groundcovers and small shrubs. Research - documenting the stories of people who lived in the area. We hope to start cemetery tours at some point. We'd love to have stories to pubish on our Facebook page @ourcemetery

You will get full training. Because it's a historic cemetery, you will need to follow the good practice that we teach you. All materials and products are provided by the group.
