Ronald McDonald House Auckland is a ‘home away from home’ for families from all over New Zealand whose children require specialist medical treatment at Starship Hospital.

As families are coming going from the House throughout the day and night, it is great for our Duty Managers to have an extra pair of hands and eyes to help them with anything they might need.

SHIFTS Fortnightly Wednesday 5pm-8pm Fortnightly Thursday 5pm-8pm Fortnightly Sundays 5pm-8pm

Please specify your availability when expressing interest.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY TASKS

Though your role is predominantly to support the Duty Manager of your shift, at times you may be required to assist the housekeeping staff or dinner groups. • Assisting the Duty Manager/Supervisor with any required tasks • Checking on dinner groups, take family orders to dinner host and help packing leftover food if needed • Tidying games and DVDs, sorting drawers and shelves • Disinfecting popular shared areas etc • Laundry tasks e.g. folding tea towels etc • Organising taxis when needed

YOUR COMMITMENT Due to the sensitive nature of the service we provide, we ask that you commit to a regular (weekly or fortnightly) shift for an extended period.
