Tamariki and rangatahi coming into our care may have experienced adversity and difficulties, and therefore many have behavioural challenges. They need stability, connection, kindness, assurance and support to thrive.

As a respite caregiver with Kia Puāwai, the support you receive includes:

• 24/7 on-call support
• Caregiver payment that is classified as a 'reimbursement'

No experience is needed, but we need reliable respite caregivers, and previous experience working with tamariki and rangatahi is an advantage.
