Social Media Volunteer Wanted – QT Community CATs

We are looking for a creative, reliable person to join our team and help support the social media side of QT Community CATs.

Our rescue relies heavily on social media to find homes for cats, recruit volunteers, raise funds, and keep the community connected to what we do. We already have a social media manager, but we are looking for someone to help share the workload and bring fresh ideas.

What the role may involve: • Creating and scheduling posts • Taking photos or short videos of cats and kittens • Writing captions and helping tell rescue stories • Sharing adoption posts and updates • Helping promote events, volunteer needs, and fundraisers • Supporting our current social media manager

Who this role would suit: • Someone who enjoys social media and being creative • A reliable person who can communicate well • Anyone with an interest in animals or community work • Students or people wanting experience in social media or marketing • People who can commit a small amount of time each week

You do not need to be an expert. A positive attitude, consistency, and a willingness to help are what matter most.

This is a volunteer role, but it is a great opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and make a real difference to local cats in need.
