Fundraising Volunteer Wanted – QT Community CATs

We are looking for a motivated, organised person to help lead and support fundraising efforts for QT Community CATs.

As a volunteer-run rescue, fundraising is essential to cover food, vet care, desexing, and daily supplies for the cats and kittens in our care. We have lots of ideas and opportunities, but we need someone who can help turn those ideas into action.

What this role may involve: • Planning and organising fundraising events (e.g. sausage sizzles, raffles, markets) • Reaching out to local businesses for sponsorships or donations • Helping run fundraising campaigns and appeals • Coordinating volunteers for fundraising activities • Tracking fundraising ideas and helping keep things organised • Working alongside the committee to grow sustainable income for the rescue

Who this role would suit: • Someone organised and proactive • A good communicator who is comfortable reaching out to people • Someone who enjoys planning events or working with the community • Anyone passionate about helping animals • Experience in fundraising, events, or sales is helpful but not required

Time commitment: Flexible. This could be a few hours per week, with extra time around events.

This role makes a real difference. Every dollar raised helps us care for vulnerable cats and continue serving our community.
