Foster and Adoption Co-ordinator QT Community CATs

Foster & Adoption Coordinator – Volunteer Role QT Community CATs
We are looking for a reliable, organised person to help coordinate our foster homes and support the adoption process for the cats and kittens in our care.
This is an important role that helps ensure cats move safely and smoothly from rescue to foster care and ultimately into loving homes. You will work closely with our team to keep communication clear and placements running efficiently.
What the role may involve: • Matching cats and kittens with suitable foster homes • Supporting and checking in with foster carers • Responding to adoption enquiries and applications • Helping organise meet-and-greets and adoption pickups • Keeping basic records of cats in foster and available for adoption • Communicating with the team about availability and capacity
Who this role would suit: • Someone organised and reliable • A good communicator who is comfortable messaging and coordinating people • Someone who enjoys problem-solving and helping animals • Experience with animals or rescue work is helpful but not required
Time commitment: Flexible. This role can often be managed remotely, with occasional visits as needed.
This role makes a real difference. By helping manage foster placements and adoptions, you directly support cats in finding safe homes and free up space to help the next animal in need.
If you are interested in being part of this vital part of our rescue, please send us a message to learn more.
Thank you for supporting local rescue work 🐱
